Our team is comprised of genuinely gifted minds
My students have usually described me as an open-minded, patient and kind person. With my help, you can be sure to become a proficient and confident English speaker within a matter of months (depending on your initial skill level). I will not bother you with needless and excessive theory. “All killer, no filler” is what I’m all about!
My love for languages started as early as school with English, through studies in Poland with Japanese, and ended up studying both Japanese and Korean at the University of Iceland. Any language can be learned, even if it seems impossible at first 🙂 Come, and you will see how the world is open to you, if only you want to talk to it.

When do classes take place?
Lesson times are arranged based on your availability, which you can indicate in the sign-up form. As of 2025, on-site classes in Hafnarfjörður take place on Tuesday between 10am and 8pm. Online classes take place any day of the week, depending on the availability of the teacher.
How long is each lesson?
Each one on one class lasts 50 minutes.
How many lessons per week?
We recommend starting with one lesson per week – it gives you time to practice between sessions without feeling overwhelmed. Want more? We’re happy to offer more frequent lessons if it fits your schedule and energy – just don’t bite off more than you can chew 😊
How long does the course last?
That depends on your goals, level, motivation, and practice habits. On average, students stay with us for about 24 lessons, which is often more than enough to noticeably level up your English.
Are 2-2-3 courses available?
Yes! Just let us know your availability in the sign-up form and we’ll build a schedule that works for you.
What do I need for online classes?
Just a device with decent Internet connection (a PC, tablet or smartphone) and a quiet place where nobody will bother you! It is good to have a pair of headphones or earbuds, but they’re not necessary. The classes are held on Google Meets – no additional software needs to be downloaded before the lesson.
Do we also teach kids?
Of course! 🙂
How to receive educational grants?
If you belong to a trade union in Iceland (most legally employed people do!), you’re likely eligible for a grant usually covering 90% of your course cost.
To apply, you’ll need a paid invoice from us, and proof of payment (PDF/screenshot from your bank or a receipt). We’re happy to help guide you through the process if needed.
